The new Version 6.1 of APplus focuses on critical areas for competitiveness: ergonomics, mobility and data quality. These aspects have been given a comprehensive overhaul, enhancing them and making them even more practical and intuitive.
For example, the dashboards have been optimized so that a given employee sees only the information that is relevant to his or her position and area of responsibility. This way, along with the results for search queries, the software only displays the menu items that match the respective search term and for which the user is specifically authorized.
To make mobile work even more efficient and transparent, APplus now features mobile project time tracking, which enables employees to enter the time for each project item directly using an iPad or Android tablet wherever they are—particularly when visiting customers. This saves time and prevents duplication.
To specifically prevent errors in master data management, Asseco Solutions is introducing an automatic plausibility check in the master data management area of APplus 6.1. In addition to automatic data processing and provision in APplus Data Warehouse, this feature also ensures the correctness of all generated data. Data records in the context of the respective evaluation target are thus available for analyses and reports directly in APplus or in Business Intelligence tools.
Based on thoroughly process-oriented and cross-modular architecture, the new version fully integrates eGECKO, a solution for finance and accounting from Asseco Solutions partner CSS into the APplus GUI.
In addition, an OEM version of the Integrated Management System (IMS) is supplied, including both the Organization, Risk Management and Processes modules. As a new feature, the APplus standard processes are included in the IMS service package.
In addition, the Risk Management module is now integrated with the new Project module. When creating a new project, a risk matrix is also automatically created for the project in IMS.
Presentations and ERP comparison test featured during Trovarit ERP Forum
On March 12, Thorsten Reuper, CTO of Asseco Solutions, will speak on "ERP 2020 based on an existing ERP application." Given from the viewpoint of Asseco Solutions, the talk will forecast the direction for ERP systems in coming years—including useful information that the decision-makers involved should look out for.
