Solid growth in Austria: Asseco opens new office in Innsbruck

Following its move into larger headquarters in Germany just a few weeks ago, Asseco Solutions continues to show healthy growth – this time in Austria. To respond to the increase in new customers in western Austria, the ERP specialist opened a new office in Innsbruck in mid-October. This is Asseco Solutions’ third office in Austria, further enhancing the company’s proximity to customers in the region and enabling it to respond faster to queries. In addition, it will now be able to offer services like consulting and training to local customers.

“Our business activity here in Austria has expanded strongly over the last few years. We’re currently winning at least ten new customers a year and an increasing number of those are in western Austria. We’re also seeing the project size grow with a change from traditional SMBs to larger midsized firms, and that means the requirements can be more complex. It goes without saying that we’re committed to offering customers in this region the best possible local service.”

Managing Director Austria at Asseco Solutions

Innsbruck quickly emerged as the ideal location for a new subsidiary due to its strategic position in the centre of western Austria. “The city has good transport connections by air and rail, enabling us to cover the whole Tyrol and Vorarlberg region more easily,” adds Leopoldseder. “Another point is that one of our partners, the consulting firm Kollar, is based in Innsbruck. We work closely with Kollar on multiple customer projects, including that of the Tyrol machine builder REKU, so we’ll benefit from more proximity to them too.”

Customer service by regional team

Over the next few weeks, a five-person team will gradually be taking over the service provision for Asseco customers in western Austria. The light and modern offices provide a pleasant working environment and also offer the opportunity to organise local informational events as well as training courses. The new location will also enable future expansion, which could become relevant quite soon: Asseco plans to increase the Innsbruck headcount to 10-15 staff in the medium term.
