## ERP-System des Jahres für den Mittelstand

## [Asseco Solutions once again awarded the “kununu Top Company” seal](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/asseco-solutions-again-awarded-with-kununu-top-company-seal/)

**Karlsruhe, 14.04.2026 – Asseco Solutions is once again a “kununu Top Company” in 2026 – an award that the ERP specialist from Karlsruhe has held since 2022. This year, the employer rating platform has once again named Asseco a Top Company for outstanding corporate culture. The employer seal recognizes companies with high employee satisfaction and is awarded exclusively on the basis of independent ratings on kununu. As a result, Asseco Solutions is one of around five percent of all companies that are recognized as a Top Company on kununu each year, making it one of the employers with the best working environment in Germany.**

![Kununu Top Company Badge 2026, yellow-blue design, highlighted award for companies.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/kununu_TopCompanyBadge_2026.png)

“A company is not just its employees, it _is_ its employees,” emphasizes Ralf Bachthaler, member of the Management Board of Asseco Solutions. “They are the ones who drive the company forward every day with their performance and commitment and shape both our product and our corporate culture with new ideas and approaches. We are delighted that their positive ratings have once again made us a top company. We want to offer our employees a workplace where they feel comfortable, where they enjoy working and where they can develop their creativity. To this end, we have been relying for years on flexible working models, attractive premises as modern creative and meeting spaces and a wide range of benefits that reward employees for their commitment. We want to continue on this path in the future in order to attract the best talent to us as an attractive employer – and retain them in the long term.”

## **Strict criteria for kununu award**

“We congratulate Asseco Solutions on once again being awarded the Top Company seal. For the fifth year in a row – this is something very special,” says Nina Zimmermann, CEO of kununu. “Only five percent of companies qualify for this special seal. This sends a positive signal, both as a figurehead for potential applicants and as a reflection of the corporate culture internally to employees. For example, 71% of companies that have received the seal have seen an increase in the number of applications. A full 81% also recognize the award as an important part of their employer brand strategy.”

To qualify for the kununu Top Company Seal 2026, a company must fulfill the following criteria:

- At least seven ratings from employees since the profile was created. Evaluations from applicants are not counted.
- A score of at least 3.8 stars (out of a maximum of 5 possible), both overall and in the employee ratings.
- In the past twelve months, the employee’s evaluation score must be at least 3.8 stars.
- At least two new ratings in the last twelve months. An updated rating also counts as a new rating.

A survey* conducted by kununu among companies that were awarded the Top Company seal in the last seal season also revealed that 80 percent of the companies surveyed received positive feedback on the Top Company seal during the application process. In addition, 81 percent of the award-winning companies would recommend other employers to try to qualify as a Top Company.

## [Solid balance sheet credit rating confirmed: “CrefoZert” for Asseco Solutions extended again](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/solid-balance-sheet-bond-confirmed-crefozert-for-asseco-solutions-again-extended/)

**Karlsruhe, 11.03.2026 – How do companies find stable and reliable partners in times of economic volatility? With the “[CrefoZert](http://www.creditreform-karlsruhe.de/crefozert.html)“, which was launched in 2009, Creditreform has been providing key pointers for years. At regular intervals, the credit agency reviews the financial situation of medium-sized companies and assesses them on the basis of objective criteria. Companies with a particularly high credit rating are awarded the renowned creditworthiness certificate. Karlsruhe-based Asseco Solutions has now passed the strict test criteria for the eleventh time in a row and has thus been awarded an extension of the seal of approval until December 2026. Specifically, this certifies that the ERP specialist has a “good” balance sheet credit rating based on the past annual financial statements and therefore a “low” risk of insolvency.**

![Award for outstanding corporate creditworthiness with CrefoZert certificate from Asseco Solutions.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/asseco-crefozert-2026.jpg)

“If you want to remain competitive, you need long-term security in an area as central to companies as ERP. At the same time, it is important to invest in future-proof technology, especially artificial intelligence,” emphasizes Ralf Bachthaler, Member of the Management Board of Asseco Solutions. “However, patience is often required until actual efficiency gains are achieved. This is another reason why a solid financial basis is absolutely crucial in today’s world – as the CrefoZert now confirms once again. Thanks to it, we are in a position to invest sustainably in the further development of our solutions and thus make the key technologies of the future available to our customers without them having to carry out ‘basic research’ themselves. The fact that we have now received the Creditreform seal of approval for the eleventh time in a row is testament to the high level of consistency with which we have been supporting our customers and partners on the path to the future for years.”

### **Multi-stage test procedure**

![CrefoZert certificate for Asseco Solutions, issued by Creditreform, valid until 2026.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/asseco-crefozert-2026-zertifikat.jpg)

The Creditreform certification, which was established in 2009, is awarded on the basis of a multi-stage audit. The creditworthiness index plays a central role here. It describes the certainty with which the company can meet its payment obligations on time and in full. In addition, the experts analyze the balance sheet creditworthiness by checking the current annual financial statements for completeness and results. Finally, future prospects are also included in the certification process. These are determined as part of an analytical discussion with the management and then assessed. Only companies that fully meet all three assessment criteria are awarded the “CrefoZert”. Due to these strict requirements, only around two percent of German companies pass the assessment procedure.

## [Future partner instead of software supplier: Impact Innovations relies on collaboration with Asseco Solutions](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/future-partner-instead-of-software-supplier-impact-innovation-relies-on-cooperation-with-asseco-solutions/)

**Karlsruhe, 13.01.2026 – Quality, precision and innovative strength “Made in Germany”: Impact Innovations GmbH is one of the global technology leaders for industrial cold spray systems. In order to increase the efficiency and transparency of its highly specialized development and production processes, the company will rely on APplus from Asseco Solutions in the future. Both the solution’s modern technology and the partnership-based cooperation with Asseco will enable the company to lay the foundations for a solid continuation of its growth trajectory.**

![Machine with the lettering "impact" in focus, industrial context, possibly relevant for the ERP software APplus.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/applus-erfolgsmeldung-impact-textbild-1.jpg)

Impact Innovations’ business activities focus on the development and production of high-performance systems for cold spraying. This is an innovative coating technology in which metal particles are applied to surfaces at supersonic speed without thermally altering them. The corresponding solutions are used wherever metal components have to withstand extreme conditions, for example in aerospace, electromobility, energy technology or the defense sector.

The company from Rattenkirchen near Mühldorf am Inn pursues a holistic approach: research, development and production are carried out in-house; the medium-sized company supports its customers from application development and system integration through to industrialization.

### **Earlier ERP implementation without success**

To support the necessary business processes, Impact Innovations has been using an ERP solution to date, which was initially introduced in 2021 for the sales and purchasing departments. During this implementation, however, it became clear that the collaboration with the software company behind it did not meet the criteria that the company had set for a long-term partnership of equals. Impact Innovations therefore refrained from introducing further modules of this solution – not least because the system could not meet the company’s requirements in terms of performance and speed.

![Employees in meeting with laptops, focus on teamwork and communication at Asseco Solutions.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/applus-erfolgsmeldung-impact-textbild-3.jpg)

“Generally speaking, an ERP project is never a purely technical matter,” emphasizes Michael Bühn, Team Leader Project Management & ERP Implementation Lead at Impact Innovations. “An ERP system forms the IT heart of a company and therefore has a decisive influence on both performance in day-to-day work and the ability to adapt flexibly to changing requirements. From our point of view, it is therefore crucial not only to rely on a high-performance solution, but also on a reliable, innovative partner who stands behind this solution and can show a solid path into the future. We have found this partner in Asseco.”

### **Convincing overall package – technically and personally**

The decision in favor of the Asseco solution was made on the basis of an extensive selection process in which Impact Innovations closely examined the solutions available on the market. From a purely technical point of view, almost all of these systems were able to map the desired range of functions in a suitable manner.

“However, it was the ‘total package’ that convinced us the most about Asseco,” recalls Michael Bühn. “The modern, innovative approach of APplus appealed to us: the clear and ergonomic interface as well as the innovative Flow Mode, which opens up a completely new, process-oriented way of using the ERP system. At the same time, the human component was right: In our exchanges with the Asseco team, we had the feeling right from the start that we were not just acquiring software, but gaining a competent partner for the future.” The contract was signed at the end of September.

### **Efficiency and transparency for day-to-day business**

A central goal for the future use of APplus is to replace time-consuming manual processes, for example in the areas of procurement or inventory management, and modernize them with digital, integrated processes. On the one hand, the aim is to achieve a holistic view of projects and thus greater cost transparency. At the same time, Impact Innovations also wants to reduce numerous time-consuming coordination processes in day-to-day business through defined process flows. In future, all relevant data on parts lists, variants, quality assurance and service will be available centrally in one system, enabling reliable planning, clean feedback and dependable scheduling.

![Industrial plant with red impact device in modern production hall.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/applus-erfolgsmeldung-impact-textbild-2.jpg)

“By using APplus, we expect a significant increase in efficiency in our daily processes,” emphasizes Michael Bühn. “This in turn will give us the urgently needed capacity to focus on the issues in our company that are really important. This is the only way we can continue our solid growth trajectory with our existing resources.”

An objective that artificial intelligence should also support in the future. APplus 9 lays the technical foundation for this. When the solution goes live, the virtual AI assistant Elly Help will also be launched to provide employees with quick and straightforward answers to questions about using APplus. In addition, the development of an internal information database is currently being planned, which could be used as a basis for further AI functions in the future.

### **Introduction to the “Fast Track”**

The go-ahead for the implementation project is planned for early 2026. As Impact Innovations intends to use the solution completely as standard and no individual adjustments are required, the project is particularly suitable for a fast-track implementation, in which APplus is implemented particularly time-efficiently and largely as standard. Accordingly, the solution is scheduled to go live in early fall 2026.

## [Asseco supports Upper Austrian food bank with Christmas presents for the needy](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/asseco-supports-upper-austrian-board/)

**Linz, 16.12.2025 – This year, Asseco Solutions once again launched its traditional charity campaign to support people in need in the region in the run-up to Christmas. A good 15 employees helped out at the company site in Linz and packed a total of 100 Christmas bags with everyday necessities such as tea, pasta, tinned food and a small Christmas greeting in the form of a sweet and a pack of cards and dice. The gifts were handed over to the Upper Austrian food bank yesterday evening, which will now distribute them to people in need in the region.**

![Two men holding gift bags at the Asseco Solutions charity campaign in Linz.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/asseco-charity-aktion-linz-11.jpg)

“Anyone who faces the daily challenge of having to make ends meet on a budget that is far too tight will find it difficult to think about Christmas,” emphasizes Markus Haller, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Asseco Solutions. “The ongoing crises around the world are doing their part to ensure that the number of people affected by this continues to grow. For us as an employer with strong roots in Upper Austria, it is a matter of course to get involved in the region and support those in need locally. I am delighted at the high level of participation by our employees, who have put our Advent campaign into action in such large numbers. I hope that we can bring at least a little Christmas joy to people in need in the region, despite their difficult life situations.”

### **Advent campaign with a supra-regional character**

The Asseco charity campaign at Christmas time has become a firm tradition over the years. In addition to the branch in Linz, two other locations in Germany also took part in the campaign this year: the Asseco headquarters in Karlsruhe and the Asseco location in Erkrath. In total, eight charitable organizations will receive Christmas presents to pass on to almost 800 people in need.

## [Asseco employees pack 500 Christmas presents for a good cause](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/asseco-employees-pack-500-christmas-gifts-for-a-good-purpose/)

**The Christmas tradition of Karlsruhe-based Asseco Solutions is entering a new round: in 2025, the business software company is once again supporting needy people from the region with the aim of giving them a little Christmas joy during the Advent season. A good 40 employees actively helped out and packed a total of almost 500 Christmas bags with everyday products such as food, toiletries and small Christmas surprises. The gifts were handed over yesterday evening to representatives of five charitable organizations from the Karlsruhe area: Durlacher Tafel, Bahnhofsmission Karlsruhe, Flüchtlingshilfe Karlsruhe, the Justice Project e.V. and Diakonisches Werk Karlsruhe.**

![People holding gift bags at a charity campaign in Karlsruhe, organized by Asseco Solutions.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/asseco-charity-aktion-karlsruhe-10.jpg)

“Having three meals a day and a roof over your head is unfortunately not something we can take for granted, even in this day and age,” emphasizes Markus Haller, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Asseco Solutions. “The work that charitable organizations do for society every day against this backdrop is invaluable. As an employer in the region, we also want to support this important cause and have once again launched our Christmas charity campaign this year. We hope that our Christmas parcels containing food and everyday necessities will bring at least a little Christmas joy to those in need in the region.”

Ralf Bachthaler, also a member of the Management Board, adds: “With this in mind, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the colleagues who made our Advent campaign possible again this year with their help and who supported us so actively in packing the Christmas presents. On behalf of the whole of Asseco Solutions, we wish the recipients of the Christmas bags a Merry Christmas with as few worries as possible.”

### **Customized content for different recipient groups**

In order to offer real help for everyday life, the contents of the Christmas gifts were tailored to the wishes and needs of the respective recipient groups in consultation with the beneficiary charitable organizations: Children receive a colorable cloth bag and find various treats as well as age-appropriate toys inside. Adult recipients such as the homeless, refugees and elderly people in need receive everyday foodstuffs such as coffee, tea or juices, toiletries and chocolate as a Christmas greeting.

The Christmas presents are distributed via the five organizations supported in the region:

- The [**Durlacher Tafel**](https://www.durlacher-tafel.de/ueber-uns/)****supports those in need with food and everyday products. The Christmas bags are distributed to 87 children aged 1-12 and 140 pensioners.
- The [**Diakonisches Werk Karlsruhe**](https://www.dw-karlsruhe.de/unsere-angebote/jugendliche/jugend-und-diakonie/)**& the**[**Hans and Therese Krille House**](https://www.dw-karlsruhe.de/unsere-angebote/jugendliche/hans-und-therese-krille-haus/)****offer socio-therapeutic support for young people with mental illness, among other things. The Christmas bags are distributed to 23 young people.
- The [**Bahnhofsmission Karlsruhe**](https://www.bahnhofsmission.de/index.php)****supports people seeking help and those in need at Karlsruhe Central Station. The Christmas bags go to 50 homeless people.
- The [**Flüchtlingshilfe Karlsruhe**](https://fluechtlingshilfe-karlsruhe.de/)****supports the integration of refugees in a variety of ways, including tutoring, training and job advice, and distributes Christmas presents to 60 adults and 15 children.
- [**The Justice Project e.V.**](https://www.thejusticeproject.de/)****supports women affected by human trafficking and forced labor. The Christmas bags go to a total of 60 women and 35 children.

### **Supraregional support for charitable causes**

Over the past few years, Asseco’s charity campaign has become a firm Christmas tradition. In addition to the Asseco headquarters in Karlsruhe, this year employees from the Erkrath and Linz branches are also putting together Christmas parcels for needy people in their regions to donate to local social services. In this way, Asseco is supporting the charitable work of eight organizations, which will pass on the donated gifts to almost 800 people in need.

## [Christmas presents for people in need in the Erkrath area](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/christmas-gifts-for-needy-people-in-the-erkrath-area/)

**Karlsruhe / Erkrath, 8.12.2025 – It has become a firm Christmas tradition: As every year, the business software company Asseco Solutions launched its charity campaign at Christmas time in 2025 to support those in need in various regions of its locations with everyday products and give them a little Christmas cheer. This year, the Asseco branch in Erkrath is taking part. The employees helped to pack more than 200 Christmas bags on site: The gifts were handed over to the Mettmann food bank and the Freundeskreis für Flüchtlinge in Erkrath e.V. on December 5.**

### Christmas gifts with everyday necessities

![People wrap presents with fir branches and red ribbons at an Asseco Solutions charity campaign.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/asseco-charity-erkrath-packen.jpg)

“In the daily grind and stress of work, it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters: having what you need to live,” emphasizes Markus Haller, CEO & CTO of Asseco Solutions. “This is a privilege and by no means a matter of course, as can be seen every day in the work of the social services and organizations here in the region. As a company with strong roots in the Erkrath area, we would like to support their charitable work and play a small part in alleviating the worries of those in need in the region, at least a little, with our Advent campaign this year. I am delighted at the commitment shown by so many of our colleagues, who have been so active in helping to pack the Christmas bags. I wish the recipients a wonderful Christmas time with as few worries as possible and hope that the gifts will bring a little joy or two.”

The contents of the Christmas bags were tailored to the wishes and needs of the respective recipient groups in close consultation with the organizations supported: While children find apples, nuts and a reusable drinking bottle in a colorable cloth bag alongside a chocolate Santa Claus, the packages for needy senior citizens contain food such as coffee or tea, sugar, tinned fruit and vegetables, as well as a pack of speculoos and a deck of cards as a small Christmas greeting.

The Christmas presents are distributed via the two organizations supported in the region:

- **Tafel Mettmann – Diakonie im Kirchenkreis Düsseldorf-Mettmann:**The Tafel Mettmann provides people in need with donated everyday products. The focus is on families and their children, single parents, pensioners and individuals on low incomes. In addition, the employees provide information on other offers of help from Diakonie and the town of Mettmann and act as intermediaries where necessary. The Christmas bags from Asseco Solutions will go to a total of 115 senior citizens in need.
- **Freundeskreis für Flüchtlinge in Erkrath e.V.:**The Freundeskreis für Flüchtlinge in Erkrath is the main point of contact for the town of Erkrath when it comes to helping refugees. Among other things, the association runs the “Hand in Hand” meeting center as a contact point and meeting place for refugees and provides support on topics such as integration, everyday issues and housing. The Christmas presents from Asseco Solutions are distributed to 100 children from refugee families.

### **Support for charitable causes in other regions too**

Asseco Solutions’ Advent campaign has become established in recent years and has been extended to various company locations over time. In addition to Erkrath, this year employees in Karlsruhe and Linz are also packing Christmas parcels to donate to regional charitable organizations. In total, Asseco Solutions supports eight organizations and reaches almost 800 people in need.

## [APplus is “ERP system of the year” in the category “User Experience ERP”](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/applus-is-the-erp-system-of-the-year-in-the-category-user-experience-erp/)

**Karlsruhe, 14.10.2025 – The ERP system is the central backbone of daily processes. The efficiency with which users work in the respective solution therefore also plays a decisive role in overall operational efficiency: an appealing and targeted user experience has a significant influence on user motivation and therefore productivity. What modern ERP systems do to maximize their user experience against this background was examined by the “Center for Enterprise Research” at the University of Potsdam as part of the renowned industry award “ERP System of the Year”. At the award ceremony yesterday evening in Frankfurt am Main, the prize for the “User Experience ERP” category went to Karlsruhe-based ERP specialist Asseco Solutions. With its innovative “Flow Mode” operating concept, its APplus solution offers customers a completely new, process-oriented way of working in the ERP world.**

![Certificate and trophy for the User Experience Award 2025 for the ERP solution APplus from Asseco Solutions.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/applus-erp-des-jahres-2025-user-experience-award-pokal-urkunde-pm-beitragsbild.jpg)

“In order to meet today’s increasing range of requirements, modern ERP systems must provide an ever wider range of functions,” emphasizes Ralf Bachthaler, member of the Management Board of Asseco Solutions. “To ensure that this doesn’t end in a huge chaos of complexity, it falls to us manufacturers to find ways to keep user-friendliness high despite the ‘power’ of the systems. With our Flow Mode, we have developed a completely new concept to make the extensive possibilities of our solution simple, intuitive and clear to use – and, incidentally, to create the indispensable basis for the AI applications of the future. Against this backdrop, we are particularly pleased to receive the award in the ‘User Experience ERP’ category. It shows us that we have taken the right path with our innovative approach and motivates us to continue optimizing the UX of our solution with new innovations in the future.”

### Rethinking user experience

![Trophy for the User Experience Award 2025 from Asseco Solutions, excellent ERP software.](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/applus-erp-des-jahres-2025-user-experience-award-pokal-pm-beitragsbild.jpg)

APplus offers users a visual, process-oriented operating concept that guides them step by step and intuitively along the ideal path through their daily tasks. Navigation through complex ERP masks and data-heavy views is no longer necessary. As a result, central core processes can be handled much more quickly and easily. Thanks to the focus on the essentials, training and familiarization costs are reduced and substitutions are easily possible. Depending on the scenario, the defined process sequences can also be run through automatically by the system, relieving users of time-consuming routines. If a release is required, the relevant specialist actively receives a notification in the system that presents all the details of the release at a glance.

The digital mapping of processes also provides companies with a “process map” of their central core processes. This provides the essential basis that will enable artificial intelligence to navigate correctly through company processes in the future in order to work on tasks together with human users.

In general, the APplus interface is ergonomically designed throughout, has a strong visual focus and is intuitive to use. State-of-the-art AI is also used to optimize the user experience: the AI dashboards, for example, allow users to customize their central dashboard with over 1,000 AI-supported elements. If required, Elly Help provides users with context-sensitive support from a virtual assistant who can help with questions about the ERP system and how it works using text or voice without media disruption.

### Industry award with tradition

The “ERP System of the Year” is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. To determine the winners, the renowned panel of experts from the Center for Enterprise Research at the University of Potsdam evaluated the solutions in question based on a wide range of criteria, including the specific solution to the problem, the benefits for customers, architecture and standards, the respective implementation approach and existing collaborations and partnerships.

## [Solid basis for the future of AI: Clamping technology and automation specialist LANG opts for APplus](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/solid-basis-for-the-future-of-ki-tensioning-technology-and-automation-specialist-lang-decides-for-applus/)

![LANG Technik opts for APplus](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/asseco-pressemitteilung-lang-entscheidungsmeldung-1024x535.jpg)

**Karlsruhe, 24.06.2025 – Future orientation is one of the central pillars of LANG Technik GmbH’s self-image. The medium-sized company offers its customers state-of-the-art workpiece and zero-point clamping technology for milling machines and systems as well as complete solutions for the automation of machine tools. In the company’s internal processes, however, high levels of automation have so far remained wishful thinking. To change this, LANG opted for ERP technology from Asseco Solutions in March 2025. In future, APplus will replace time-consuming manual processes, increase the efficiency of daily work – and at the same time create the basis for the AI-supported working world of the future.**

With its high-precision zero-point clamping technology and associated automation solutions, LANG enables its customers to comprehensively reduce set-up times and thus significantly increase their efficiency. The company from Baden-Württemberg develops and produces the corresponding systems itself. LANG solutions can be used with almost any customer system, as long as it has the necessary interfaces.

A total of 140 employees at the headquarters in Holzmaden are responsible for the production of clamping devices and the implementation of automation projects with customers. The company also has a special production facility in Neuhausen and sales offices in Switzerland, France and the USA. In all other target regions worldwide – from Canada to South Korea – LANG works with trading partners who distribute its products in the respective markets.

### **Digitalization lags behind company growth**

Since 2015, LANG Technik’s turnover has more than doubled – from around 21 million to 46 million euros per year. Accordingly, the focus to date has been on meeting the increasing demand as quickly as possible with high quality. As a result, the supporting systems for scheduling, planning and processes have fallen behind and have so far been characterized by numerous manual steps and inefficiency. This is due not least to the organically grown structure of two legacy solutions, which have so far covered sales and production but are not connected to each other. In practice, this results in a high level of data maintenance effort: required data has to be transferred manually time and again, and comprehensive reports or evaluations can only be created with great effort.

In addition, the production planning tool used so far is not able to map work processes, so LANG has to find a workaround here. If rescheduling is necessary, this has to be done manually in the system: If an order is moved on a machine, all subsequent orders must also be moved manually.

“Our colleagues really do everything they can to make up for the deficits as best they can,” emphasizes Arabella Braun, Project Manager ERP System at LANG. “But objectively, we are simply losing too much time due to this way of working. This was revealed not least by an inventory of our processes, in which we analyzed how much time these inefficiencies cost us on a daily basis. Time that we could put to good use in other areas in view of our increasing order volume.”

### **Key users opt for APplus**

In March 2024, LANG therefore decided to switch to a new, future-proof ERP solution. The focus was on three key requirement areas: functional scope, user-friendliness and interpersonal contact with the manufacturer’s project team. On a functional level, it was crucial for LANG that the central requirements of the metalworking industry were covered precisely. As LANG mainly works “Made to Stock”, functions for efficient stock management were of particular relevance.

“Right from the first Look&Feel presentation, APplus stood out with its user-friendliness and modern interface. Our colleagues immediately had the feeling that they could work with it straight away,” recalls Arabella Braun. “The final decision in favor of APplus was later made almost unanimously by our key users. With its functions such as production planning and production data acquisition, APplus is particularly well positioned in the area of production, which is important to us.”

### **Asseco’s forward-looking approach is convincing – also and especially in the field of AI**

Another important decision criterion for Asseco was its positioning and approach in the context of artificial intelligence. “For us, there is no question that AI will be one of the key topics of the future. We perceived Asseco as a provider that is very close to the pulse of AI development – not only technologically, but also in terms of the future-oriented approach that Asseco has adopted here.”

Accordingly, one of the aims of the ERP migration at LANG was to obtain a clean, reliable database that the company can use for modern AI application scenarios in the future. Arabella Braun sees particular potential for this in the sales area, among others. Here, AI could be used to identify new leads and suitable reasons to call. As efficient warehousing is also particularly relevant for LANG in terms of profitability in day-to-day business, this area could also benefit from AI optimization.

### **Transparency and efficiency inside and outside the factory hall**

APplus is to be implemented at LANG as part of a so-called fast-track implementation (FTI). This means that the Asseco solution can go live at the customer’s premises in just a few months. The go-live of the solution is currently planned for March 2026.

In daily practice, APplus will support LANG in the future with automated scheduling suggestions, among other things: Until now, employees have called up a list every day and checked the individual items manually, a time-consuming process. Order suggestions for required materials should also reduce the time required in practice.

![LANG Technik opts for APplus](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/asseco-pressemitteilung-lang-entscheidungsmeldung-textbild.jpg)

In the context of actual production, APplus will ensure greater efficiency and transparency: the user-friendly production planning enables quick adjustments to be made at any time, while the work plans behind it provide an overview of the current processing stage of the parts belonging to an order at the touch of a button.

Finally, project management, which was previously based on Excel lists, will also be mapped using APplus in future: The solution enables efficient linking of projects with production orders or material orders, which will benefit LANG both in the context of its automation projects and for internal projects.

### **Think in processes**

“What particularly appealed to me personally about APplus was the solution’s process focus,” emphasizes Arabella Braun. “In reality, tasks don’t just end at the departmental boundaries, the underlying process extends much further. With this in mind, Flow Mode was an absolute highlight for us, from which we will certainly benefit greatly in practice.”

The new usage mode provides users with a process-oriented view that guides them step by step through the processing of their current task. The process is focused on the essentials and the necessary actions in the ERP system are carried out automatically in the background. “Beforehand, however, it is important for us to get to know the processes in classic mode – first you have to be able to do the math yourself, then you can switch to the fast calculator.”

### **Hundreds of hours of time savings expected**

Based on the inefficiencies identified during the initial process analysis, the introduction of APplus will fully pay for itself in just three years. “We have calculated that we can save a good 500 working hours per month across all areas thanks to the efficiency gains with APplus,” concludes Arabella Braun. “This gives us valuable time, which our employees then have available for tasks that require really creative or strategic considerations. This includes, for example, the optimization of supplier relationships, for which we have often simply not had the time to date.”

## [“Change Ahead”: Seeing change as an opportunity](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/change-ahead-understanding-change-as-opportunity/)

**Karlsruhe, 06.06.2025 – “Seize opportunities. Live innovation. Growing together.” – was the motto of this year’s Asseco Customer Day, the Swiss edition of which took place on June 5 at the premises of Asseco customer Thermoplan in Weggis. A good 70 guests were treated to a varied program of presentations focusing on current technology megatrends such as artificial intelligence. The main focus was on the question of how the potential benefits can be tapped into in practice. The new APplus 9, for example, offers an innovative approach to this: with its completely new approach to ERP, companies can set the course for the highly automated working methods of the future.**

![](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/change-ahead-kundentag-ch-4-1.jpg)

“The potential of state-of-the-art AI technology for a company’s efficiency is enormous – but a state-of-the-art express train can never reach its top speed if it is running on an outdated, disruption-prone rail network,” emphasizes Asseco CEO Ralf Bachthaler. “The same applies to AI: in order for it to really enable the high levels of automation that companies so urgently need, it needs the right foundation.”

“We offer an efficient way to achieve this with APplus 9,” adds Markus Haller, CEO & CTO. “Our process-oriented flow mode maps the core processes of a company in a digital way. This results in a ‘rail network’ of processes that will enable modern AI agents to move directly from A to B in the near future. Technological change cannot be stopped – but with the right precautions, it will become a unique opportunity for companies in the future.”

### Condensed expert knowledge, practical exchange of experience

The question of how exactly the innovative usage concept of APplus 9 works in practice and what other advantages it offers in day-to-day business was therefore one of the focal points of the Swiss Customer Day. In addition, the Asseco experts and various guest speakers highlighted current trend topics such as ERP internationalization, mobile service, finance and modern support models.

![Asseco Customer Day Switzerland 2025](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/change-ahead-kundentag-ch-7-1.jpg)

The theory was supplemented by a compact ERP trade exhibition, where participants were able to gain a concrete impression of the functionality of the new APplus 9 by means of various live demos and personal discussions with product experts. Specialized functions such as APplus Mobile Service, the new e-mail integration, electronic invoice processing and various partner products were also available for testing.

Finally, a special highlight of the Customer Day was an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Thermoplan, during which participants were able to gain first-hand insights into the working methods of the manufacturer of high-quality fully automatic coffee machines and its use of APplus in day-to-day business. There was also ample opportunity for personal networking, not least at the relaxed drinks reception at the end of the customer day.

## [Asseco opens new Austrian head office in Linz: “Future Work” becomes a reality](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/asseco-opens-new-oesterreich-head-office-in-linz-future-work-will-be-lived-reality/)

**Karlsruhe / Linz, 04.06.2025 – The working world of the future is collaborative, flexible and focused – the workplace of the future is much more than just an office. As a modern and future-oriented ERP specialist, Asseco Solutions is also taking innovative paths in its own way of working and is placing the concept of “Future Work” at the center of its new Austrian head office. At the new location in Linz, which replaces the previous premises in St. Florian, an innovative new work and networking space is now available to a good hundred employees – with potential for further growth in the Austrian market. The new branch was inaugurated on June 3 as part of a festive opening event.**

![Asseco Solutions Office Linz](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/asol-office-linz-5.jpg)

“How can an employer successfully assert itself in the competition for the best talent? Against the backdrop of the ongoing shortage of skilled workers, those who can offer not only an exciting field of activity but also an attractive working environment will increasingly win the race,” explains Christian Leopoldseder, Managing Director Austria at Asseco Solutions. “For our new headquarters in Linz, we have therefore chosen a completely new approach to daily work, which is reflected in the design of the premises, but also in new formats for collaboration.”

The new office spaces in Linz are designed according to the latest New Work principles. The new location combines high-quality design, flexible working areas and a creative working environment to create a real experience space: communication, inspiration and concentration are key. Creative rooms and interactive meeting spaces are specially designed in such a way that silence and lighting effectively promote concentration. The underlying concept was developed in collaboration with the experts from the interior design studio “Meindl Cavar Concepts – Schönstil Interior” and the management consultancy for sustainable buildings, service and change processes “M.O.O.CON GmbH”.

### The office as an interactive experience space

Through new concepts of collaboration, the new location should also become a space for creativity, joint exchange and personal development. This could include, for example, open innovation rounds in which employees spontaneously collaborate on new ideas, or regular short presentations during work breaks. Experts could provide information on current topics such as AI, the future of work or approaches to personal development, thereby promoting knowledge and providing opportunities for discussion. The “Lunch & Learn” program already enables colleagues to share helpful knowledge in an informal setting.

## [“Change Ahead”: How companies use change as an opportunity](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/change-ahead-how-companies-use-change-as-an-opportunity/)

**Karlsruhe, 23.05.2025 – “Seize opportunities. Live innovation. Growing together.” – This was the motto of this year’s Asseco Solutions Customer Day South, which took place on May 22 at the Kultur Quartier Kufstein. A total of 120 participants from Austria, South Tyrol and Bavaria learned about the possibilities of current technological innovations such as AI as part of a varied program of presentations – as well as the question of how the corresponding benefits can be implemented in practice. The focus was on the new APplus 9, which prepares customers for the highly automated working methods of the future with a completely new ERP approach.**

![](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/asseco-solutions-applus-kundentag-Oesterreich-Change-Ahead-1-1-1024x649.jpg)

“The potential of state-of-the-art AI technology for a company’s efficiency is enormous – but a state-of-the-art express train can never reach its top speed if it is running on an outdated, disruption-prone rail network,” emphasized Asseco CEO Ralf Bachthaler during the opening keynote. “The same applies to AI: in order for it to really enable the high levels of automation that companies so urgently need, it needs the right foundation.”

“And this is precisely the foundation we are laying with our new APplus 9,” added Christian Leopoldseder, Managing Director Austria at Asseco Solutions. “With the innovative Flow Mode usage concept, we are digitally mapping central core processes. This provides the rail network on which modern AI agents will be able to travel in the future without getting lost. With the right prerequisites, the change will become a unique opportunity for Austrian SMEs.”

### Condensed expert knowledge, practical exchange of experience

The customer event focused on exactly what this new usage concept looks like in practice and what other advantages it offers in day-to-day business. Asseco experts and guest speakers from business and science also provided information on numerous other current topics such as ERP internationalization, mobility, modern support models and the future of the ERP industry in general.

## [For the tenth time in a row: “CrefoZert” confirms Asseco Solutions’ solid financial basis](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/for-the-tenth-time-in-a-row-crefo-certifies-solid-financial-basis-of-asseco-solutions/)

**Karlsruhe, 17.03.2025 – Artificial intelligence has become a real game changer for the business world. However, in order for its potential to actually be tapped into in real-life scenarios for customers, sustainable investments are required. Investments that can hardly be made without a solid financial basis. The fact that Asseco Solutions has an excellent starting position in this context has now been confirmed by a renewed audit by the credit agency Creditreform. For the tenth time in a row, the ERP specialist from Karlsruhe passed the strict audit criteria and is now delighted to have been awarded the prestigious “CrefoZert” again. The seal of approval, which is valid until the beginning of 2026, certifies that the company has a “very good to good” balance sheet credit rating based on its most recent annual financial statements and therefore a “very low” risk of insolvency.**

![](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/asseco-crefozert-textbild-2.jpg)

“We are in a time of profound and at the same time highly dynamic change – both from an economic and technological perspective,” emphasizes Sascha Wellershoff, Chief Financial Officer of Asseco Solutions. “The global situation is characterized by great uncertainty and presents companies with major challenges. At the same time, technological innovations such as artificial intelligence offer enormous opportunities to counter these effectively. In order to take the necessary steps, companies need a partner at their side who can reliably accompany them through this time of upheaval with innovative approaches and a solid economic basis. I am therefore particularly pleased that Creditreform has once again confirmed our excellent credit rating. For a decade now, our customers have been able to rely on our rock-solid financial foundation and can therefore rest assured: With Asseco, they have the right partner at their side for the business and technology world of the future.”

## Multi-stage test procedure

## [Tested safety and quality: Asseco certified according to ISO 27001 and 9001](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/tested-safety-and-quality-assurance-certified-according-to-iso-27001-and-9001/)

**Karlsruhe, 04.03.2025 – The ERP system is the IT backbone of a company – and therefore also the central repository for sensitive business information and customer data. Accordingly, companies must be able to rely on the fact that both the product used and the manufacturer behind it meet the highest quality and security standards. Criteria that the ERP specialist Asseco Solutions from Karlsruhe fulfills in a comprehensive manner: The company has now been certified to the ISO 27001 information security standard for the first time. In December, the company received a newly issued certificate for the quality management standard 9001, which is valid until the end of 2027.**

![](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/asseco-solutions-pressemitteilung-iso-zertifizierung-textbild.jpg)

“Data is the gold of the digital age – its protection must therefore be a top priority at all times,” emphasizes Markus Haller, CEO and CTO of Asseco Solutions. “We already take this requirement into account in the development of APplus. With the ‘Security by Design’ approach, we ensure that our software code is created as securely as possible from the ground up. Our customers can rest assured that we always handle the information provided carefully and conscientiously and do everything we can to ensure the highest quality in our processes and products. The current certifications are proof of the fruits of our efforts in these areas.”

To ensure the best possible product security, Asseco provides its developers with regular training on secure coding and consistent compliance with security-relevant standards, among other things. When implementing the ERP system at the customer’s site, the company is increasingly focusing on only ever storing sensitive data in encrypted form and only allowing access to the system via VPN. Finally, the Asseco experts provide support with proven recommendations such as network separation, which allows APplus to be operated in a separate area and is therefore better protected against potential intruders or malware in the main network.

### ISO 27001 proves compliance with central security standards

Measures such as these make a decisive contribution to optimizing information security and are therefore at the heart of ISO 27001. In order to achieve compliance with this standard, manufacturers must prove that they handle information and data responsibly in their own business processes as well as ensure the highest level of security in their solutions through appropriate measures in their development. To this end, an information security management system must be used and identified risks must be addressed by means of control mechanisms. Corresponding guidelines, processes and procedures must be comprehensively documented and the security awareness of employees must be continuously sharpened and improved.

For the purpose of certification, compliance with these criteria was examined as part of an audit. Specifically, the auditors scrutinized the corporate structure of Asseco Solutions and its compliance with the central key requirements of the standard. To this end, the procedures within the company were put through their paces and, for example, people from various departments were interviewed and the concrete implementation of processes and control mechanisms were verified in practice.

### New certificate for quality management

In addition to information security, Asseco Solutions has also received a new certificate in the area of quality management that is valid until the end of 2027. It certifies the company’s compliance with the ISO 9001 quality management standard, which ensures that the company pursues a sound quality strategy and documents and controls it in a verifiable manner.
Seven central dimensions of quality management are decisive for this within the framework of the standard: customer focus, leadership responsibility, employee involvement, process orientation, continuous improvement, fact-based decisions and relationship management with partners and suppliers. Asseco Solutions was able to comprehensively fulfill the corresponding requirements in order to provide the highest level of quality in its products and services on this basis and to reliably meet the requirements of the market and its customers.

## [526 Christmas presents for people in need in the Karlsruhe and Upper Austria region](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/526-christmas-gifts-for-people-in-need-in-the-region-karlsruhe-germany-and-upper-austria/)

**Karlsruhe, 5.12.2024 – Asseco Solutions is once again supporting those in need this year with donations in kind and small Christmas gifts. Around 60 employees in Germany and Austria took part in the campaign and packed a total of 526 gift bags with food, hygiene articles and small Christmas gifts. Yesterday evening, Asseco board members Ralf Bachthaler and Sascha Wellershoff handed over the 426 parcels for the Karlsruhe area to representatives of five local charitable organizations: the Durlacher Tafel, the Bahnhofsmission Karlsruhe, the Verein für Jugendhilfe Karlsruhe e.V., the Justice Project e.V. and the Diakonisches Werk Karlsruhe. Asseco’s Austrian branch also took part in the campaign: on December 10, employees packed a total of 100 parcels for the Oberösterreichische Tafel.**

![](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/asseco-charity-packen.jpg)

“It’s hard to think about Christmas when you have just enough money or not even enough for the bare essentials,” explains Ralf Bachthaler. “With the ongoing crises in this world, the number of people affected by this is unfortunately growing instead of decreasing. As an employer with strong roots in the Karlsruhe area, we see it as a matter of course to get involved in the region and support those in need locally.”

“Especially in challenging times like these, social commitment is more important than ever,” emphasizes Markus Haller, CEO, CTO and Chairman of the Management Board of Asseco Solutions. “In recent years, the Advent campaign has established itself as a firm tradition at our headquarters in Karlsruhe. The fact that our Austrian location is now also joining the charitable cause this year is a strong sign and I am particularly pleased.”

Sascha Wellershoff adds: “I would like to thank our employees for their active participation in the campaign. In this way, we can support several charitable organizations this year and thus expand the circle of people to whom we can hopefully bring at least a little Christmas joy despite their difficult life situations.”

## **Tailor-made help for those in need**

The contents of the Christmas parcels were tailored to the wishes and needs of the respective recipient groups in close consultation with the selected organizations: While children also find a small, age-appropriate toy in their presents, the parcels for the homeless and homeless people, for example, contain important hygiene items. Pensioners often express the wish for a packet of coffee, for which there is often no room in the tight budget.

Specifically, the Christmas presents reach the following groups of people in need via the charitable organizations:

- The **Durlacher Tafel** supports those in need with food and everyday products. The Christmas bags are distributed to 100 children aged 1-12 and 114 pensioners.
- The **Karlsruhe station mission** supports people seeking help and those in need at Karlsruhe main station. The Christmas bags go to 50 homeless people. Asseco also donates coffee for the station mission to serve on site to people in need.
- The **Verein für Jugendhilfe Karlsruhe e.V.** offers help for self-help for young and adult people and families in special social situations. 40 young people receive the Christmas bags here.
- **The Justice Project e.V.**supports women affected by human trafficking and forced labor. The Christmas bags go to a total of 70 women and 31 children.
- The **Diakonisches Werk Karlsruhe** & the **Hans-und-Therese-Krille-Haus** offer social therapeutic support for young people with mental illnesses, among other things. The Christmas bags are distributed to 21 young people.
- The presents packed as part of the Advent campaign at the Austrian branch will go to the **Upper Austrian food bank**, which will hand them out to needy people from the region at its Christmas party.

## **Financial support also for supra-regional charitable purposes**

In addition to the gifts in kind for local charities, Asseco Solutions is once again supporting national charitable causes with monetary donations this year. A total of 5,000 euros will be donated to the work of Deutsche Welthungerhilfe e.V. and a further 5,000 euros to SOS Children’s Villages.

## [Asseco Vision Days 2024: The age of intelligent ERP has dawned](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/asseco-vision-days-2024-the-age-of-intelligent-erp-has-been-interrupted/)

**Karlsruhe, 26.09.2024 – The possibilities of large language models and generative AI will fundamentally change the ERP industry in the near future. The keynote speakers from Asseco Solutions left no doubt about this at this year’s customer conference. At the end of the “Vision Days” in Karlsruhe, the Asseco experts showed what this means in practice. For the more than 600 participants, they gave a preview of the possibilities that intelligent ERP will offer in the near future – and also held out the prospect of new AI functions for APplus: if desired, the solution will be able to automate entire process chains in the future. In addition, new AI assistants will enable an interactive exchange of APplus processes and data in natural language.**

“Nowadays, innovation has become a competitive factor that significantly influences success: the current quantum leaps in the field of AI hold the potential to significantly increase the efficiency and productivity of our customers,” emphasizes Ralf Bachthaler, member of the Management Board of Asseco Solutions. “This is precisely the reason why we are acting as a pioneer for intelligent ERP and driving its further development forward with vigor. With APplus 8, we have succeeded in achieving a key innovation boost. It is the first solution that utilizes the almost unlimited possibilities of AI with its process-based operating concept Flow Mode and its own process layer.”

[![](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/presse-vorschau-vision-days-2.jpg)](https://www.visiondays.applus-erp.de/)

Werner Hießl, Director Product & Cloud at Asseco Solutions, adds: “Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly intertwined with the ERP world, enabling completely new ways of using it. However, if an AI is to interact with a company’s processes, hallucinations would be fatal. To prevent this, AI needs a realistic map of the processes. It can use this to orient itself. Our process-oriented usage mode of APplus 8 delivers exactly that. This means that we – and therefore our customers – already have the ideal technical basis for making the intelligent ERP of the future a reality.”

**Integrated utilization concepts connect man and machine**

Building on this, APplus will soon offer customers the option of having the system automatically drive entire process chains on request. Until now, it has always been up to the user to actively start a specific process in process-oriented flow mode. In future, events such as the receipt of an email can also act as a trigger. The solution then runs through the defined process step by step and automatically performs the necessary actions in the system, such as creating a new order.

If decisions or input from a user are required, APplus stops the process and automatically notifies the employee responsible using a notification icon. The user’s feedback in turn influences the further course of the process: Depending on whether the user approves or rejects an order, for example, APplus then runs through the other associated steps.

This integrated utilization concept lays the foundation for efficient collaboration between man and machine and accelerates the processing of central workflows in day-to-day business.

**Intelligent assistants for data and processes**

The intelligent chatbot “Ask.APplus” promises quick information on the functionality and operation of APplus. Instead of manually trawling through extensive documentation or making time-consuming support requests, users will soon be able to get immediate information on many APplus-related questions. For example, the chatbot explains how a specific task can be processed in the system. On request, Ask.APplus can refer to the relevant sections in the documentation so that users can also consult the original section.

Asseco Solutions also presented the prototype of the virtual assistant Elly. In future, she will support APplus users in natural language with a wide range of requests and tasks. In an initial application scenario, for example, it will be possible for employees from Controlling to send Elly queries about evaluations or key figures and receive information about them in natural language. Elly uses both the information available in APplus and generally available knowledge about industries, market developments or the economic situation.

**Safety first and foremost**

For all current and future AI functions in APplus, the security and confidentiality of data is paramount. The data required for the AI models used is processed exclusively on EU servers that comply with the strict European data protection regulations. The company data remains confidential at all times and never flows back into the further training of the AI model.

**“Festival of Innovation” at the Vision Days 2024**

For two days, the ERP of the future was the focus of the Asseco Vision Days, which took place on 24 and
25 September in Karlsruhe, Asseco’s home city. September in Karlsruhe, Asseco’s home town. Under the motto “Festival of Innovation”, the participating customers and partners benefited from an extensive program of informative specialist presentations and practice-oriented user reports. They also had the opportunity to exchange ideas with other Asseco customers, product experts and thought leaders on innovative future technology. A total of more than 600 participants came together for the Vision Days in Karlsruhe. The next customer and partner conference is planned for 2026.

## [“Festival of Innovation”: intelligent ERP is the big star at Vision Days 2024](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/festival-of-innovation-at-vision-days-2024-the-intelligent-erp-is-the-big-star/)

**Karlsruhe, 12.09.2024 – How will the ERP world change in the age of generative artificial intelligence? How can companies use efficient digitalization to lay the foundations for success in the ongoing volatile economic situation? And what new functions will APplus support its users with in the future? Topics such as these are the focus of this year’s “Vision Days”, the major customer event organized by Karlsruhe-based ERP specialist Asseco Solutions. Under the motto “Festival of Innovation”, the more than 600 registered guests can expect an extensive line-up of informative specialist presentations and ample opportunities to exchange ideas with other users, product experts and thought leaders on innovative future technology on September 24 and 25 in the Gartenhalle in Karlsruhe.**

[![](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/presse-vorschau-vision-days-2.jpg)](https://www.visiondays.applus-erp.de/)

“The groundbreaking innovations brought about by generative AI and large language models have triggered a veritable earthquake in the IT industry – and rightly so,” emphasizes Markus Haller, CEO and CTO of Asseco Solutions. “We will soon see new applications and benefits from the new technology in almost all areas of our daily lives, not least in the context of the world of work. AI will revolutionize existing ways of working in the very near future. This naturally raises many questions for ERP users: How exactly should we imagine the ERP world of the future? What advantages will arise in practice? What preparatory work needs to be done? And how can the protection and confidentiality of sensitive data be ensured despite all the euphoria? At this year’s Vision Days, together with our customers and partners, we want to take a look at the intelligent ERP future, which – if I may say so in advance – will not be long in coming.”

**Impulses for strategy, know-how for practice**

The Vision Days conference program offers extensive expert knowledge on the major future trend of AI, the ERP software APplus as well as numerous other ERP and digitalization aspects. Panel discussions and practical topics such as security, sustainability, updates, e-commerce, funding opportunities for digitalization projects, ERP internationalization, international projects, EDI and e-invoices will be the focus of the event. In addition, the Success Stories Lounge offers customers easy opportunities to interact with other APplus users and learn from their best practices. Finally, in the Tech Talk Corner, Asseco experts from the fields of IT, IT security, architecture, system technology and release management will be available to answer individual questions and provide insights into the technical development of APplus.

The wide-ranging conference program opens up new perspectives for participants and provides suggestions for aligning corporate strategy with future requirements, achieving strategic goals, optimizing processes and securing competitive advantages in the long term.

**Celebrating future technology**

“We are currently on the cusp of a new, innovative and exciting technological era – the reason why we have chosen the motto ‘Festival of Innovation’,” emphasizes Ralf Bachthaler, CSO of Asseco Solutions. “We want to celebrate our customers and the impressive opportunities that the new, intelligent ERP world will open up for them. As with every festival, the focus will also be on personal interaction, both among our customers and between our customers, partners and us. We want to find out what moves users in their day-to-day work and what suggestions and ideas are being discussed among our customer base. The feedback flows directly back into our development so that our solution continues to keep its finger on the pulse of our users. ## [Flexible ERP processes for the factory floor of tomorrow](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/flexible-erp-prozesse-fuer-die-werkshalle-von-morgen/)

**Karlsruhe, 11.06.2024 – New machine, new functions: In times of AI and large language models, the range of functions of modern production machines is expanding in record time. However, in order for the continuous innovations to actually result in an increase in efficiency for the overall process, the surrounding IT systems must also be able to take this dynamic into account. At this year’s “[World of Tools](https://www.hoffmann-group.com/DE/de/hom/hoffmann-group/messen-veranstaltungen/world-of-tools/e/948561/)“, the Hoffmann Group’s in-house exhibition, from June 18 to 20 in Nuremberg, the company’s experts will be demonstrating how Karlsruhe-based ERP specialist Asseco Solutions is creating the basis for precisely this with the latest generation of its APplus solution, thus providing tailored support for the digital production of tomorrow.**

Modern machines are becoming increasingly intelligent. By integrating new technologies such as generative AI, they are increasingly able to take over other parts of the process flow independently, from the optimal prioritization of pending orders to the breakdown of the bill of materials. To ensure that such changes in the business process are also accurately reflected in its digital form and that no media disruptions occur or workarounds become necessary, modern ERP solutions must offer options for mapping the ever new process changes without the need for time-consuming and cost-intensive adjustments.

![World of Tools 2024 - Logo](https://www.applus-erp.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/WoT_Logo-300x283.png)

In order to meet this new status quo, APplus 8 offers a user-friendly and clearly structured process view for central company workflows that goes beyond the data-centric approach previously common in the ERP world. The ERP specialist’s experts will be presenting this at the World of Tools 2024. The new Flow Mode not only enables users to process their daily tasks much faster. If, for example, new machines or intelligent systems require the processes to be adapted, the defined process flows can also be modified quickly and easily at configuration level to reflect the change in the system. The underlying ERP standard remains untouched. In this way, APplus 8 offers companies precisely the flexibility they need in the context of dynamic technological development.

**ERP power for networked production**

APplus also offers comprehensive support for the Hoffmann Group’s “[Connected Manufacturing](https://digital.hoffmann-group.com/de-DE/p/connected-manufacturing/)” digital solution specifically for its ecosystem. The latter makes it possible to collect data from machines and production systems in real time and then analyze it in a central software platform. Based on this analysis, companies can then optimize their manufacturing processes, avoid production bottlenecks, monitor quality and increase their efficiency. At World of Tools 2024, interested parties can also find out first-hand how the interaction between connected manufacturing and APplus works in practice and what benefits this brings for customers.

## [Asseco Solutions at the start of Power2Drive 2024](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/asseco-solutions-mit-am-start-auf-der-power2drive-2024/)

**Karlsruhe, 06.06.2024 – What does the future of green mobility look like? What opportunities and challenges do manufacturers in the eMobility sector face? And how can the latter be tackled efficiently? Questions like these are the focus of the international trade fair for charging infrastructure and electromobility Power2Drive from June 19 to 21 in Munich. Karlsruhe-based ERP specialist Asseco Solutions will be demonstrating how a powerful ERP system with tailored industry functions can become the digital engine of eMobility companies at stand 450G in hall B6**.

In the dynamic environment of the eMobility sector, flexibility and agility have become key success factors: New innovations on the market constantly demand a high degree of adaptability from manufacturers and service providers. At the same time, the strict regulations of the automotive industry require the highest degree of care, quality and traceability. In order to best meet this strict requirement profile of the industry, Asseco Solutions relies on an exchange with experts from the field: the ERP specialist has been a member of the Bundesverband eMobilität e.V. since 2020 – and is represented at this year’s Power2Drive at its joint stand.

Among other things, the Asseco experts will be providing information on how companies in the eMobility sector can increase their efficiency through suitable business solutions, state-of-the-art AI and high levels of integration and thus bring green products to market faster and more economically. The Asseco solution APplus supports eMobility companies in this context with a whole range of [specific functions](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/solutions/industries/e-mobility/):

Among other things, the ERP system offers users the option of adding specialized data fields such as resistance value, kilowatt hour, emission values, maintenance cycles, energy density, cell and efficiency on an industry-specific basis – purely on a configuration basis, without interfering with the standard. Even strict technical specifications can be easily met with the help of comprehensive batch or serial number traceability. Required service processes can be handled via the APplus service management tool. From deployment planning to documentation, this enables efficient planning, control and management of maintenance procedures across all stages of the service process.

## [2,000 euros for an important cause: Asseco Solutions supports the work of the Karlsruhe Children’s Hospice Service](https://www.applus-erp.de/en/asseco-solutions/news/2-000-euro-fuer-wichtigen-zweck-asseco-solutions-unterstuetzt-die-arbeit-des-kinderhospizdienstes-karlsruhe/)

**Karlsruhe, 23.04.2024 – It is a topic that is often difficult to talk about. This makes the work of those who actively support those affected all the more important: The full-time and volunteer staff of the Karlsruhe Children’s Hospice Service look after seriously or terminally ill children and young people with their families and work every day to improve their quality of life as much as possible. To support the important work of the service, Karlsruhe-based IT provider Asseco Solutions has launched a fundraising campaign. The amount of 2,090 euros raised was handed over to representatives of the children’s hospice service by CEO Ralf Bachthaler today, Tuesday.**

The donation was collected with the help of Asseco employees as part of an Easter campaign: the company acknowledged each participation in an internal quiz with a donation of ten euros. This raised a total of 2,090 euros for the children’s hospice service, which will support the daily work of the social institution.

“What the employees of the Karlsruhe Children’s Hospice Service achieve on a daily basis, the fates they are confronted with, is almost unimaginable for most of us. I have the utmost respect for their service,” emphasized Ralf Bachthaler, CEO of Asseco Solutions, when handing over the donation. “I am all the more pleased that so many of our employees have supported this important cause so eagerly. Even colleagues from our branch in Guatemala took part in the fundraising campaign in order to raise as much money as possible. I am delighted to be able to hand over the money now and hope that our donation can make at least a small contribution to supporting the important work of the Karlsruhe Children’s Hospice Service in practice.”

**Care for children and their families**

The Karlsruhe Children’s Hospice Service is a division of the superordinate Karlsruhe Hospice Service. The latter has been in existence since June 1991 and is sponsored by the Diakonisches Werk Karlsruhe and the Caritasverband Karlsruhe e. V. In addition to providing outpatient care for seriously or terminally ill children and young people, the children’s hospice service also provides support for families in which a parent is seriously ill, for example with cancer. The help is available to the sick child itself, the siblings, the parents and people in the family’s immediate surroundings. A total of 43 volunteers worked for the Karlsruhe Children’s Hospice Service in 2023.
