Karlsruhe, September 24, 2026 – Under the theme “Spotlight on Success,” ERP specialist Asseco Solutions hosted its major customer conference, “Vision Days,” in Bad Vilbel near Frankfurt on September 22 and 23. Some 600 participants enjoyed two exciting days of the conference in the cinematic setting of the VILCO, centered on the key question: How are current technological innovations transforming the ERP world, and how can customers benefit from them in concrete terms? Answers to these questions were provided by a varied program of expert presentations, case studies, and panel discussions, which also offered ample opportunity for informal exchanges and networking.
“The pace at which technological innovations are taking place today has never been faster,” emphasized Markus Haller, CEO and CTO of Asseco Solutions, during the opening keynote addresses. “Sitting back and waiting is not an option—neither for us as manufacturers nor for our customers, who have to compete in the market every day. Transformation is not an end in itself, but rather the key prerequisite for operational effectiveness and competitiveness.” CSO Ralf Bachthaler added: “It is precisely in this context that we are continuing to develop our solutions: The ERP of tomorrow is not a passive system, but an active partner to its users, one that draws attention to necessary actions and drives processes forward on its own in the background as much as possible. We want to embark on this path toward the future together with our customers.”
Adrian Steiner, CEO of Thermoplan, a Swiss specialist in fully automatic coffee machines, illustrated just how crucial transformation is from a concrete business perspective: While the current global economic situation is putting companies under immense pressure, speed, clear decision-making, and the courage to embrace change are the key factors for continuing to succeed. During his guest keynote address, he provided attendees with fascinating insights into the operations of a global player that embraces digitalization—and has thus been operating successfully in the market for years.
Concrete Solutions for Dynamic Times
While the status quo outlined in the keynote addresses provided the overarching framework for the Vision Days, the diverse lineup of speakers—including experts from Asseco, customers, and partners—then brought the theory together with the world of ERP and APplus in particular. The packed conference program offered participants insights into the latest developments in areas such as AI, document management, e-invoicing, BI, security, mobility, and finance. Particular focus was placed on the latest generation of APplus, which integrates ERP and AI into a native unit. The program was rounded out by numerous practical customer presentations that provided insights into real-world APplus usage, shared best practices, and thus offered inspiration for participants’ own digital transformation strategies.

With the “APplus Flow of the Year” award, Asseco also spotlighted the innovative strength of its own customers. In the run-up to the event, customers had the opportunity to submit particularly innovative, complex, or exciting use cases that had already been implemented in practice as process-oriented APplus Flows. The award went to polyurethane manufacturer ASMA, which digitally mapped the usage and management process for its production molds using Flow Mode. What had previously been an informally managed workflow was thus transformed into a fully digital, controllable process chain that coordinates and triggers the physical movement of the molds, including integration with the warehouse lifts. The final shortlist for the award also included case studies from CMBlu and Hans Weber Maschinenfabrik.
Let the show begin! at Vision Days 2026
True to the motto “Spotlight on Success,” the theme of “Film and Cinema” ran throughout the entire Vision Days event—from the visual design of the presentations to the titles of the talks, which repeatedly alluded to major blockbusters in film history. Accordingly, following the first day of the conference, Asseco hosted an “After Show Party”: Over dinner and drinks in a cinematic atmosphere, guests reflected on the day’s highlights and took the opportunity to engage in relaxed conversation with one another, with partners, and with the Asseco team.
