Linz, 16.12.2025 – This year, Asseco Solutions once again launched its traditional charity campaign to support people in need in the region in the run-up to Christmas. A good 15 employees helped out at the company site in Linz and packed a total of 100 Christmas bags with everyday necessities such as tea, pasta, tinned food and a small Christmas greeting in the form of a sweet and a pack of cards and dice. The gifts were handed over to the Upper Austrian food bank yesterday evening, which will now distribute them to people in need in the region.

“Anyone who faces the daily challenge of having to make ends meet on a budget that is far too tight will find it difficult to think about Christmas,” emphasizes Markus Haller, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Asseco Solutions. “The ongoing crises around the world are doing their part to ensure that the number of people affected by this continues to grow. For us as an employer with strong roots in Upper Austria, it is a matter of course to get involved in the region and support those in need locally. I am delighted at the high level of participation by our employees, who have put our Advent campaign into action in such large numbers. I hope that we can bring at least a little Christmas joy to people in need in the region, despite their difficult life situations.”
Advent campaign with a supra-regional character
The Asseco charity campaign at Christmas time has become a firm tradition over the years. In addition to the branch in Linz, two other locations in Germany also took part in the campaign this year: the Asseco headquarters in Karlsruhe and the Asseco location in Erkrath. In total, eight charitable organizations will receive Christmas presents to pass on to almost 800 people in need.
